Meet 2020-2021 CHS Graduate – Mikaela Snider – ” When I became an elite gymnast I went to various competitions, camps, and gyms where I witnessed and received countless injuries. After observing and experiencing such injuries, I fell in love with the medical field. Learning about various injuries that occur in athletes, only furthered my fascination with medicine. I have been a part of the Sports Medicine program at Clovis High School.   By helping assist in injury prevention and rehabilitation I have taken an interest in several different medical careers such as physical therapy, sports medicine, and orthopedic surgery.  One of my biggest aspirations is to figure out a way to make medical care more affordable and accessible to citizens that undeniably need it.” Congratulations to Mikaela, 2021 CMS Education Foundation Scholarship Recipient.
