Each year, the CMS Education Foundation invests approximately $30,000 into our local schools, providing educators in the Clovis Municipal Schools district with grants designed to spark creativity and innovation in the classroom. The EF Grants Program celebrates and supports forward-thinking instructional strategies that inspire students and elevate learning experiences. Interested educators can apply online with this form.

Teachers and staff across CMS who are directly involved in student instruction or providing related support services are invited to apply for these grants. This program opens the door for educators to explore fresh ideas and projects that may fall outside the typical public education budget. Whether you’re a solo educator or part of a team, this is an exciting opportunity to bring new instructional methods to life.

Grants of up to $1,000 are available for individual teacher-led projects, while teams, departments, or district-wide initiatives can apply for grants up to $5,000. Please note that only one grant per school will be awarded per cycle, encouraging a wide spread of innovation across the district.

Applications are carefully reviewed by the CMS Education Foundation’s Grants & Scholarships Committee, composed of Foundation Board members. Winners will be announced within one to two weeks after the submission deadline, followed by a celebratory reception where winners will be formally recognized and awarded their grants.

This program is all about encouraging creative approaches to education and supporting the incredible work our CMS educators do every day. Keep an eye out for submission deadlines and start planning your innovative project today!
