Meet 2020-2021 CHS Graduate Katie Reeb – “As a cancer survivor of sixteen years, life has thrown many hardships at me that not many students can say they’ve gone through. After four surgeries, three different prosthetics, and undergoing anesthesia thirteen times, I had become cancer-free. Although I was now left with 50% of my vision and a prosthetic left eye, I am pursuing a post-secondary education. I am going to be attending Texas Tech University in the fall of 2021 as a pre-med student. After college, I plan on attending medical school to become a pediatric ophthalmologist. I hope to return home to Clovis, New Mexico to serve my community as a leader and help others.” Congratulations to Katie, 2021 CMS Education Foundation Scholarship Recipient.
