A message from Renee Russ, Superintendent-Clovis Municipal Schools:

On behalf of the Clovis Municipal Schools Board of Education, I am reaching out for your help in distributing information regarding the upcoming General Obligation Bond and SB-9 Capital Improvements Tax Election. Because this is the first ever all-mail election for CMS, spreading the word to local voters is critical. Any assistance you can offer to help the District share the following information would be greatly appreciated!

As we welcome the 2021 year, Clovis Municipal Schools is encouraging local voters to participate in the District’s first ever, all-mail General Obligation Bond and SB-9 Capital Improvements Tax election. Ballots will be mailed to registered voters by the Curry County Clerk’s office beginning on January 19, 2021 and must be returned either by mail or in person to the County Clerk’s office no later than 7:00 p.m., February 16, 2021.

General Obligation Bond and SB-9 Capital Improvements funds may be used to construct, improve, maintain, and repair district facilities as well as to provide critical technology resources such as Chromebooks and technology infrastructure that supports both in-person and remote learning. Please refer to the promotional brochure below for an overview of the election process and how funds generated with voter approval will be targeted to benefit local schools and students. Comprehensive information and promotional videos can also be viewed on the CMS Website at this link: http://www.clovis-schools.org/2021_Election.html

Thank you sincerely for your support!
