The Honors Scholarships are provided by the CMS Education Foundation for the benefit of our CHS students. All applications will be reviewed by the Scholarship Application Review Committee, based upon specific criteria. The committee is made up of education foundation directors, district deputy superintendent, and others as deemed necessary by the Foundation Board of Directors. The foundation awards 2 scholarships in the amount of $5000 each. Funds are distributed to the higher education institution to which the student scholarship recipients are accepted/enrolled for four consecutive semesters in the amount of $1250 per semester. More detailed information will be provided to the two scholarship recipients.
Student Eligibility
Students must be eligible for graduation during the current school year and have a minimum GPA of 3.5 in order to apply; in addition, students must have a minimum ACT score of 20 or a minimum SAT score of 1060.
Scholarship applications must be completed in full and submitted online by the deadline; applicants will be notified of the Foundation Scholarship Committee’s decision. For any questions and/or clarification, students may refer to the Clovis High School Guidance Office.
